apply the water footprint methodology and tools for sustainable water resources management.
The Water Footprint Network invites stakeholders with an interest in the water footprint concept to become partner to

your organisation belongs to. All received fees are used solely to support the core operational functions, working groups
and projects carried out by the Water Footprint Network in support of its mission. The Water Footprint Network is a fully
non-profit organisation.
Why become a Water Footprint Network partner?
As a partner you
- Get exclusive early access to technical information, knowledge, tools and communications on water footprint
before it enters into the public domain*.
- Can participate in, contribute to and learn from collaboratively executed and funded projects and make the most of the
limited resources and technical capacities available.
- Have preferential access to the best available methodology, technical resources and experts on water footprint.
- Contribute to research, development and policy agendas on water footprint.
* The Water Footprint Network is based on open-source philosophy. This means that any result of research and development
projects be available in the public domain once concluded. As a partner you will have the opportunity to have access to
this information, have the opportunity to actively get involved in the R&D projects and have access to water footprint
experts while being involved in projects.
Two types of partners
- Regular partners endorse the mission of the Water Footprint Network and support the activities of the network
through an annual low-level fee based on the stakeholder segment that the partner represents.

contributing to (in terms of financial resources and/or time) water footprint projects inside the network or outside
that are fully coordinated and integrated with the technical work programme of the Water Footprint Network in support
of its mission. Sponsoring partners pay a annual fee that is substantially higher than regular partners and is based
on the stakeholder segment that the partner represents.
For details on partnership fees please refer to Annex 2 of the
application form.
