Guorui Huang
I am a Ph.D. candidate from Tsinghua University, China, focused on agricultural water and nitrogen management. My PhD thesis is “Water scarcity assessment and agricultural water saving in China”. I use the DNDC and AquaCrop model to estimate the crop yield, nitrogen and water effect on Chinese agriculture. Using water footprint assessment method, I evaluate the agricultural water consumption and water saving under different crop managements. Further, I am also interested in agricultural crop trade, exploring the trade-offs of importing crop production to meet domestic demand in China.
